Our floats consist of a two-piece design that includes a robust, color-coded outer casing and a foam core. This clever design offers numerous advantages: The foam buoyancy core remains sealed at all times and provides a reliable attachment to the plug. Each color corresponds to a specific length – be it for the 18 mm or the 23 mm series. The colors are clearly visible and prevent confusion. This means that correct identification is possible at a glance, even if parts are accidentally placed in the wrong storage location or sorted incorrectly in the warehouse. The hard outer housing protects the foam core from damage that can occur with other suppliers when a hydrometer is used for acid testing. Once inserted into the plug, the hydrometer tube slides to the side thanks to the smooth surface of the housing and cannot puncture or damage the buoyancy foam.
